The Last Of Us Season 2 Review

[spoiler warning] I promised to review this season when I finished it in my The Last Of Us season one review, and now that I have finished season two, I can confidently say that I was… kinda disappointed, actually. As much as I adored the first season, I never expected season two to be quite as good as the first, and, unfortunately, but not unpredictably, this season is worse on all aspects, and I finished watching the season feeling quite conflicted, honestly. I will preface this, I have a LOT of thoughts on this series, both good, and bad. So please, bear with me, since I have a ton to unpack here. This season is set 5 years after the first, with Ellie and Joel having settled into Tommy’s settlement by now. We see old characters from the first season here, along with new, in the form of Ellie’s friends. And, in Ellie’s friends, we have my first complaint about the season. I just don’t care for any of these new characters. I don’t feel like any of them are given that much of a reason ...

The Last Of Us Season 1 Review

  [WARNING; THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR SEASON 1 OF THE LAST OF US.] This series, before I finally ended up watching it, had been on my radar for a while, as it was widely regarded as  a great, and one of the best for that matter, adaptations of a video game into a show. Because obviously, the show is based off of the survival horror game of the same name, and, according to people who have played the game and watched the show, quite heavily follows the game’s plot points. I’m not entirely sure about the shows merit as an adaptation, however, as I actually haven’t played the games yet, but I will still be talking about my opinions on the quality of the show as a standalone show, instead of an adaptation, due to the fact I’m not particularly experienced when it comes to the last of us games.
